摘要Utilizing operatives in design approach, the author argues that the alternative spatial paradigms may
give ways to allow localized, considered operations with the generative thinking and derivation of
learning approach in the studio pedagogy within the issues of design under climate change, and to the
process and dissemination of the creative whole. Taiwan is chosen for the exact reason that it allows
utilizing the authors’ learning and teaching experiences in both Taiwanese and Western architecture
schools as a reference point. The paper asserts that the discourse in the exploration on
empowering the notion of the generative process of design thinking, presenting the catalysts building
up the prototype with stretched quandary and polemics and the methodology pertinent to the health
and sustainability challenges and opportunities of our time.
