摘要 Identifying the core factors of hotel operations is a challenging task. The current research often uses selective variables, which can skew the results and hinder a clear understanding of the actual situation. To address this, we propose using the Bayesian Model Averaging (BMA) approach. Our findings, in accordance with recent studies, show that the BMA approach effectively reduces uncertainty, highlighting several crucial determinants across the performance, ownership, and quality segments. The key factors consistently include hotel characteristics such as the number of rooms, chain affiliation, and quality tier. The demographic and socio-economic factors, such as population and occupation, are also significant. The consistent importance of these hotel-specific characteristics highlights their fundamental role in shaping operations.
