摘要 This mixed-method case study examined how the 6E Learning byDeSign™ model was implemented to support collaboration, interdisciplinary knowledge integration, and STEM competency development in an undergraduate System Analysis and Design course. The study included 137 students who completed the course and worked in 20 stable project teams that they formed at the beginning of the semester. After the final projects, two industry mentors classified nine existing teams as Honored (H) and 11 as Registered (R). These labels were not disclosed to the students. Quantitative course-performance and survey data were aggregated into equal-weight team means and analyzed using Mann–Whitney U and Wilcoxon signed-rank tests, with exact p-values and family-specific Bonferroni adjustment. These data were supplemented by qualitative student reflections and project documentation. The surveys yielded 125 valid midterm responses and 126 valid final responses. After adjustment, H teams had higher midterm and final raw team-project scores than R teams, whereas differences in the other course-performance outcomes did not remain statistically significant. Across all 20 teams, final ratings were higher for all four STEM indicators and for Explain, Engineer, and Evaluate. Engage, Explore, and Enrich and all direct H/R change-score comparisons were nonsignificant after adjustment. The findings suggest that the 6E model can provide a practical structure for collaborative and interdisciplinary STEM learning.
