摘要 In this paper, the (001)-oriented 8×8⁢𝐤·𝐩 Kane matrix of the zincblende Hamiltonian is expanded to solve for the mathematical expression of the Kane dispersion relation. In previous literatures, the approximation of the Kane dispersion relation can also be referred to as the Kane non-parabolic approximation, which is the non-parabolic (𝑁⁢𝑃) conduction-band expression for second-order carrier energies (𝐸𝑁⁢𝑃). In this paper, the Kane non-parabolic approximations of the third-order carrier energies (𝐸𝑁⁢𝑃) of all four bands (conduction, heavy-hole, light-hole, and split-off) are derived through rigorous physical concepts and reasonable approximation techniques. Furthermore, we use 𝐼⁢𝑛⁢𝐴⁢𝑠 as an example to verify the rationality and correctness of our derived formulas.
