| 摘要 | The lunar whistler waves at a few hertz have been observed by various satellite missions in polar orbits (100 km altitude) and the equatorial elliptical orbit of the Moon. There are still higher altitudes in some regions that are not covered by these orbits, so there are still many features of these waves that remain a puzzle. In this study, we model the spatial distributions of potential observed frequencies up to 200 km above the lunar surface. To obtain these frequencies, the lunar crustal fields and the data provided by the Kaguya mission are adopted to construct the fields’ distribution; the interplanetary fields are also taken into account. The solar wind velocities are varied to investigate the observed wave frequencies through the Doppler-shift effect. These frequencies are specifically modeled for the Moon at different phases in the orbit when it is located within the solar wind. Hence, they are investigated when the local noon occurs at the selenographic longitudes between 50 and 310 degrees. Both the modeled original wave frequencies and the Doppler-shifted frequency will be derived to enhance our understanding of their measured ranges in future missions. |
