| 摘要 | The development of manganese oxide (MnO2) as an effective electrochemical storage material is hindered by its inherent weak conductivity and slow ion transfer kinetics. Therefore, constructing defects in MnO2 is a beneficial technique to overcome those obstacles by controlling the atomic level electrical structure and enhancing the electrochemical capability. In this work, surface-defective MnO2 and WC (MnO2@WC) electrode were prepared using a facile co-precipitation method for asymmetric supercapacitor applications. The introduction of oxygen vacancies into the material improved its conductivity and reaction kinetics, resulting in increased capacitance. The X-ray absorption spectroscopy result revealed that the coordination number of the Mn-O was reduced in MnO2@WC, leading to improved oxygen vacancies. The MnO2@WC heterostructure electrode exhibited an efficient specific capacitance of 590.6 F g−1 at 1 A g−1. The outstanding capacitive behavior of the as-prepared electrode arose from the formation of surface defects in MnO2, which facilitated numerous active sites and rapid electron transfer, thereby boosting the electrochemical performance. An asymmetric (AC//MnO2@WC) supercapacitor was fabricated, and its performance was evaluated to further verify its feasibility. The asymmetric supercapacitor with aqueous electrolyte exhibits stability (97.2 % capacity retention after 10,000 cycles) with 39.2 Wh Kg−1, 842.65 W kg−1 energy, and power densities. |
