摘要 | An analysis is conducted on the wave observations by the two probes orbiting the moon of the ARTEMIS (Acceleration, Reconnection, Turbulence and Electrodynamics of Moon's Interaction with the Sun) mission. The wave features in the magnetotail and the solar wind are compared. This is accomplished by analyzing the observational data about lunar day 15 and lunar day 1, respectively, over a period of ten years by utilizing the high-resolution FFF wave spectral data and with the aid of measurements from the search coil magnetometer. The frequency range of waves exhibits a broader range at the tailside, whereas it is predominantly confined to a few Hz at the solar wind. Patterns of these waves in f-t spectrograms also exhibit a greater range of variations at the tailside. Many waves are found to be in the frequency range of whistler mode. We will explore and discuss how the characteristics of observed waves are associated with plasma properties in the environment, as well as the influence of solar proton events on these waves. |
