摘要 People learn in different ways and with different capacities on different subject areas.Unless otherwise arranged, most of classes in the formal educational settings are heterogeneous in students' ability and attitude. Although such phenomenon seems natural and normal, it is extremely difficult both for teachers and students in instruction and learning. The students of two extremes are usually ignored because most of teachers can only take care of the majority. This type of problem is especially serious and critical in ESL classes in Taiwan middle high schools due to the entry levels of the students vary gready.ln order to partially solve the problem, the administrators and the instructors need to work out some feasible and efficient approaches to meet the needs of the students. This paper will focus on some possible approaches that might be workable and effective for English education in Taiwan middle high schools.
