||Medical imaging is an important diagnostic tool, so that medical personnel can more easily understand the patient's condition. Therefore, this study will combine medical knowledge and computer science to detect and capture the various features. The physician can effectively progress the further treatment with this information. The contour and texture of the medical imaging are the important features, and we can use some image segmentation techniques to obtain these features. In this study, the experiments focused on the contour and texture segmentation in continuous abdominal computed tomography (CT) images. We also proposed a modified region growing algorithm for image segmentation. Finally, we will develop a computer-aided system based on this framework to show the segmented images and assist the clinical diagnosis more effectively.
