Aspects relating to three types of transition-metal-catalyzed addition of a nitrile with subsequent cyclization include (1) a transition-metal acting as a Lewis acid to accelerate the nucleophilic addition of a nitrile, (2) the late-transition-metal-catalyzed 1,2-insertion of a nitrile, and (3) an in situ generated radical by transition-metal catalysis to implement a radical addition/cyclization tandem reaction. This catalytic reaction is a practical method for the systematic synthesis of quinindoline core structure, which contains a limited-step synthetic strategy and can tolerant a wide variety of substituents. With this, MSU-2 was introduced as it shows high potentiality to be employed as CO2 adsorbent due to its excellent properties such as the highly interconnected three-dimensional (3D) wormhole-like framework structure as well as large specific surface area, total pore volume and pore size. We explore conditions on the structure of generalized plants under which necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of stabilizing SOF gains are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Extension to some other control performances is made in a unified manner. The optimal H-infinity (or H2) gains can be efficiently computed via convex optimization.
