The bipolar resistive switching and the magnetoresistances measured at high resistance state (HRS) and low resistance state (LRS) yield four distinctive resistive states in a single device. The temperature dependence of resistance at LRS suggests that the resistive switching is not triggered by the metal filaments within the AlOx layer. The role played by oxygen vacancies in AlOx is the key to determine the resistive state. RayJournal of Applied Physics 127(5), 054302Utilizing a reverse micelle process, we have grafted polyacrylate (P) on graphene oxide (GO) to realize polyacrylate grafted graphene oxide (P-GO) nanocomposites, upon whose subsequent reduction, polyacrylate grafted reduced graphene oxide (P-rGO) nanocomposites are achieved. Using techniques such as ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy (UPS), x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and x-ray absorption near edge structure (XANES) spectroscopy, in conjunction with high-resolution microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and superconducting quantum interference device analysis, we have studied in depth the electronic, microstructural, electrical, and magnetic properties of these P-GO and P-rGO nanocomposites.

This design uses a novel asymmetric coplanar strip line (ACPS) circular ring to produce even or odd modes of the CPW, which can generate vertical or horizontal polarization in the semiloop antenna. Subsequently ion implantation with 60 keV N ions at two different fluences 1 × 1016 and 5 × 1016 ions/cm2 and followed by annealing was carried out. Thin films were then characterized for electronic structure, morphology and transport properties. X-ray absorption spectroscopy reveals the local distortion of TiO6 octahedra and introduction of oxygen vacancies due to N implantation. We have studied the microstructure, electronic, electrical and magnetic properties of r-GO and r-GO:Au-NPs nanocomposites. By introducing TBs at the source and drain junctions of a Si FET, the threshold voltage (Vth) rolloff can be significantly suppressed. This is because the TBs weaken the electrical coupling between drain bias and transmission/current spectrum in energy. This work presents the design of transparent microstrip antennas by In2O3:Sn thin film on glass and polycarbonate substrates. The transparent conducting thin films of 21–300nm thickness deposited by magnetron sputtering are measured by X-ray diffraction for microstructure, 4-point probe for electrical resistance, and spectrometer for optical transmittance. The performance of a rectangular microstrip antenna in composite structures is analyzed in spectral domain in this work. Analysis shows that the electromagnetics of antenna in spectral domain is similar to the mechanics of composite structure in space domain. The electrical field, the immittance (impedance or admittance), and the current density are equivalent to the stress, strain, and stiffness in mechanics of composite structures.
