| 摘要 | This study gives an insight into the space-time varying feature of modal frequencies for a rectangular plate under a vehicle load using three-dimensional visualization. By establishing the semi-analytical solutions of the instantaneous frequencies, this study can serve as the reference for verifying the three-dimensional finite element model with application to complex vehicle–bridge interaction problems. For a rectangular plate-type bridge with a larger side length ratio, the frequency variation of the system behaves like a beam-type bridge. Besides, with the increase in the mode order, the amount of frequency variation gradually decreases, arising from lower vehicle-plate coupling as a result of dynamic stiffening of the high-order modes. For a short-span plate-type bridge, the amount of frequency variation for the system is not negligible and the vehicle-plate coupling effect should be carefully taken into account in the design process and the measurement of bridge frequencies. |
