摘要 | 本研究是探討利用二苯亞甲基山梨醇(1,3:2,4-Dibenzylidene sorbitol, DBS)有機膠來製備新型的聚乙二醇(poly(ethylene glycol),PEG)高分子膠 態電解液與其應用在染料敏化太陽能電池。DBS 是價格便宜的膠化劑且只 需要很少的量就能在有機溶劑中自我組裝形成有機膠,本研究將此膠化劑 放入液態PEG 高分子中,並改變不同高分子的分子量與末端基,來製備一 系列的膠態電解液。並且也改變不同DBS 衍生物的膠化劑,來製備膠態 電解液。DBS 有機膠是由奈米細纖維所組成,並有似球晶的結構,因此利 用SEM、TEM 與POM 等儀器來觀察不同PEG 分子量、末端基與不同DBS 衍生物膠化劑所形成的有機膠其結構的影響。利用流變儀來探討一系列有 機膠的黏彈性、熔解溫度與形成溫度等。此外,利用IR 與UV/Vis 光譜儀 探討DBS 與PEG 高分子之間的作用力關係,並嘗試利用SAXS 儀器探討 其微結構並希望找出DBS 形成奈米細纖維與似球晶結構的原因。最後將 探討其在染料敏化電池的應用,將一系列加入DBS 後的膠態電解液放入 組合好的電池,首先探討其導電性質,並找出光電轉化效率最好的膠態電 解液,希望能成功應用在染料敏化太陽能電池。 The preparation and characteristics of novel poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) gel electrolyte with 1,3:2,4-dibenzylidene-D-sorbitol (DBS) organogels and its applications in dye-sensitized solar cells were investigated. DBS is an expensive gelator that can self-assemble into nanofibrillar networks in a variety of organic solvents at low concentrations to produce the organogels. In this study, we induce DBS organogels in low molecular weight liquid polymers, PEG, and prepare a series of gel electrolytes by varying the amount of DBS as well as PEG molecular weights and end groups. We also change the gelators, DBS derivatives, to prepare the gel electrolytes. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and polarized optical microscopy (POM) will be used to observe the structures of DBS organogels. The rheological properties of DBS organogels will be characterized by rheological measurements. Infra-red (IR) and ultra-violet (UV/Vis) spectrophotometers will be used to measure the molecular interaction, such as hydrogen bonding and π-π interaction. Small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) will be used to investigate the microstructure of these organogels. Finally, we try to find the best condition for the DBS gelator to have the highest solar energy conversion efficiency in dye-sensitized solar cells. |
