| 摘要 | 詞組的整體意義，往往不是其構造成份意義的加總，而是構造成份間隱藏的連結，亦即：中心語和修飾語因外在知識的介入，而產生出交互作用。許多研究發現，形容詞的意義會隨著被修飾的名詞改變，這種順應性是解讀詞組過程中概念聯結下的產物。實驗以生物及非生物為主題製作測驗卷，各由一百個以形容詞為修飾語的新創名詞詞組構成。從受試者在測驗中所提供的答案，揭示出許多種類的交互作用。本研究旨在探討名詞與修飾語交互影響的過程中，兩者的概念整合。 The meaning of a nominal composition is not often equivalent to the sum of the meanings of its components, but the product of the interaction between the head noun and modifier. According to some studies, the adjective meaning varies with its accompanying noun; this flexibility occurs as a result of the conceptual combination when understanding a noun phrase. Two experiments were carried out to examine interpretations of 100 novel noun phrases composed of living categories and another 100 of lifeless categories. The obtained answers revealed several types of interaction and shed light on the interaction process. |
