| 摘要 | With the emerging of newly deploye d multimedia services, analternative solution must be found to replace th e tradition access network. Cablenet work supports great amount of clien t users and adequate bandwidth and thereforebecomes an elegant solutio n for modern multimedia application s. However, thebandwidth-sharing c haracteristic and the lack of bandwid th management scheme incable net work result in some issues. Hence, i n this paper we have proposed ama nagement scheme called Lo-Su Reso urce Allocation Mechanism (LSRAM) toenhance the bandwidth managem ent in cable network. Our mechanis m is very simple,easy- implemented , fairly and flexibly assigns bandwidt h to each user, and efficientlyincreas es total network throughput |
